2. Review of Minutes
Minutes were reviewed and amended.
07-2003 Church/Stewart
THAT AHSPIC does accept the minutes of the meeting of February 13, 2003 as amended.

3. Young Entrepreneur Programme
Erin Richmond distributed material and explained the Young Entrepreneur Programme. There is a youth conference in North Bay on March 26, 2003.
Erin also briefly spoke about the work of LTAB.
4. Correspondence
Reviewed article in the Huntsville Forester and letter from Gary McFarlane..
Correspondence from AHIC was reviewed and discussed the issue building and operational business.
5. Expanded Micro Business Development Programme
Gail Henderson explained the work of this programme.
The current newsletter and brochure were distributed.
Almaguin Highlands Strategic Plan Implementation
Committee
6. Progress of Survey of Municipalities
Martin Parker verbally reviewed the results submitted. Results are still being received by the South River Municipal office.
7. Proposed NOHFC Project
Martin Parker reviewed the proposal.
O8-2003 Tod/Scott
THAT this committee does hereby support the proposal to the NOHFC Sponsorship Programme by the Village of South River in cooperation with AHSPIC.

8. Review of Draft Action Plan for AHSPIC
The plan was reviewed.
Ed is to confirm an active list of members for this committee.
An invitation is to be extended to Nip Net and Muskoka Community Network to attend the next meeting of this committee.
Bob Sjonnessen recommended the Women's Own Resource Centre champion the development of a business retention and expansion programme. Stephan Poulin from the North Bay MNDM office could assist.
9. Reports
9.1 Joint Meeting with AHIC
There is not an interest in a meeting of this nature at this time.
9.2 E-Commerce Web Portal Project
David Stewart reported that we now have control of "www.almaguinhighlands.com". McMurrich/Monteith will handle the finances for the time being.
9.3 Almaguin Highlands Logo
There was discussion about promoting the logo and where to use it.
10. New Business
Kay Tod will confirm Donna Sedore's e-mail address.
